Snow is looming tomorrow, which means that it’s goodbye to autumn in western Maine. I’ve dug out all my scarves and the snow tires go on Thursday. November is always a mystery month in Maine. By the end of the month we may be buried in six feet of snow or the ground may stay bare through Christmas. But all in all it’s one of my favorite months. Wood fires, hot chocolate, Thanksgiving – what’s not to love?
I snapped these photos just a few minutes ago, to capture these last fleeting hours of autumn.
